View of Franz Joseph Glacier from the Chopper

After walking around Lake Matherson we drove back into town and booked a chopper flight. Unfortunately it was too windy up high to do the circuit around Mt Cook but we were able to do the double glacier flight. We flew up the Frans Joseph Galcier, landed on the Fox Neve and then flew back down the Fox Glacier back into town.
